Phoenix Theatre Company is pleased to announce the next production for the  2023 season. 

 

The Memory of Water

In The Memory of Water, three sisters; Teresa, Mary and Catherine, meet on the eve of their mother's funeral each haunted by their own demons. 
As the three women get together after years of separation the conflicts of the past converge, their hidden lies and tensions reveal the particular patterns and strains of family relationships.

NODA Nominations

‘The Memory of Water’, directed by Dan Hobson and Hannah Brayford, through their direction, Dan and Hannah were able to take the audience on a rollercoaster of emotions, from the fun of the sisters trying on their mother’s clothes to the moment that Mary found out about her son.

The technical elements of the production were good and overall, this was a good production. There were some good performances, some interesting technical elements, and good staging.
